I don't bake but I'm french and the crust looks like something we'd get out of a bakery

It didn't seem to explode the slashes on top very much, maybe not enough rise?

I don’t cold retard my baguettes for lack of fridge space, and it’s hard to get good slashes on warm wet dough.
