It's amazing that there is finally actual serious movement in this direction. I feel like it's been talked about for my whole life.
But I really wish they would be more forward-thinking with it. You're building an entire new line. Design it to be compatible with a future high-speed rail link, even if you don't actually expect it to be used that way for a while.
