Saudi Arabia is in line to host the 2034 World Cup after Australia decides against bidding hours before the deadline.

ESPN is reporting that Australia dropped their bid, so SA was the only bidder.

Australia is saying they dropped their bid because the Asian Football federation backed SA and therefor wouldn't vote for Australia.
