I hate articles that don't include publish dates almost as much as I hate local news sources that don't list the city and state they are in.

Its not perfect but you can check archive websites for the dates that stories were archived: https://archive.is/https://www.theglobeandmail.com/investing/personal-finance/household-finances/article-in-10-years-will-canada-be-a-country-of-roommates/ in this case, October 26th.
