This is a RCA remote I bought from Walmart. It seems to require a proprietary app. Has anyone had any luck with this device or similar devices?

Edit: it doesn't work with Bluetooth so no

I didn't work and I just returned it. A wireless keyboard and my phone work fine

I just use Yatse for the most part, the remote barely gets used.
