I know this is a great art by Stable, but I would like to point out that there are in fact golden Beatles in real life. You can check them out here on Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charidotella_sexpunctata
I was going to title it something along the lines of golden beetle, but I changed the title to be more clear that it wasn't a photo.
Woah these little beasts are quite metal! The larva have some interesting adaptations and the adults can change color.
