Welcome to SFF Gaming, a hub for all things related to Sci-fi and Fantasy gaming! My hope is to make this a place to discuss all types of Sci-Fi and Fantasy gaming, from video games to tabletop and beyond. I also really wanna support small content creators so let me know and I'll see what I can do to promote your project. And don't forget to check out the other communities here on the SFF Alliance
I'm new to this, feedback is welcome!
Also, I really like the idea of commissioning a banner and icon for the community. If you have an idea please message me, Hyggyldy, and we can discuss. Thanks!

Trying to finish episode 4 of The Long Dark story mode. Also finished the Talos Principle 2 demo. Also finally got around to playing and completing Firewatch.
I have the long dark on my backlog. I played the forest a little too much with a friend and lost desire for survival type games for a while. How is the learning curve?
I am playing the story mode on the easiest setting, and it is almost too easy. The story mode has some survival mechanics, but on the lowest level they make it so easy you can almost ignore most of it. The survival mode is a lot more brutal and is more of a sandbox-style (no defined goals beyond 'survive') so I got bored of it relatively quickly. I guess my answer is that the learning curve is as hard as you make it!
