While being feral had its own pitfalls, I think most of us ended up with life coping skills they the generations after us seem to be lacking.

Yeah I ended up with a lifetime of CPTSD and anxiety after a childhood of severe neglect. I did develop great skills at feeling happy and safe when entirely alone, however, so there's that.
