he only moved to STL a few years ago

Are you saying that they can't be involved and be a leader in the community just because they weren't "born and raised here"? I moved here just a few years ago. Should I just go ahead and unsubscribe since I'm an "outsider"? This is the kind of thinking and rhetoric that will hold the region back.
