EU says "fuck Ryanair"
I wish it was only Ryan Air, every other company does that nowadays. Every time I travel alone I end up switching seat a couple of times to let couples and families sit together.
Well they could just pay to sit together. You either don't care where you sit, or you do and you will pay for that additional fee. I don't see anything wrong with that.
They purposely put people apart if they do not pay, which is just awful.
I know they are doing it, it's not nice, but they can assign random seats if they want.
Maybe not anymore. And I like that. Because it comes very close to hidden fees.
They once wanted twice as much as booking another ticket to change a name...
It's to combat ticket resellers.
Scalping should be illegal. You shouldn't be able to buy something and resell it for more money than you bought it for unless you're part of a distribution network like a store or you made significant improvements to the thing so it's not really the same item.
.. and Ryan will say "fuck clients' money"
Which is fair and should happen. You're going to pay it anyways, but now they need to tell right up how much it'll be.
Hey at least they don't overbook.
I travel for work, only once I've ended up being overbooked on a flight in Europe, and that was when I booked the ticket like two hours before.
