This movie came out in 1998 - there's a very famous scene where they're planning a heist at the Petronas towers. I've visited Malaysia and I still think about that movie.

Do people in Malaysia have common knowledge about that film at all, or is it like a meh reference.

For context, there's a film called Canadian Bacon that most Canadians over a certain age are aware of.

Hello, I don't know why you get downvotes. To answer your question, I do not think anyone in my social circle knows about this movie, never appeared in any of our conversations, never heard of.
