Apollo - A beautiful app built for power and speed.

Since many of us are trying to avoid giving reddit any traffic, this space can be used to discuss Apollo, our dreams of seeing it join the Fediverse, and to give our appreciation to @[email protected] for his incredible work.

I think it should just become a wallpaper app. But fully dedicated to apollo icons. Or future icons turned into wallpapers. It's sorta clear he doesnt want to at the moment do anything with the App that’s big work right now. But opening it up as a wallpaper app for creators to take Apollo icons or make their own icons into wallpapers would be amazing. It would keep the app running and a community would be sorta born again.

I’ve been using Memmy, which has been pretty decent. Is WefWef good?

I enjoy WefWef. I jumped to it once Apollo shut down and it is basically a clone of Apollo in look and feel. It is not without issues, but that’s not unexpected with the large influx of users recently. However, it receives updates almost daily, so it’s only up from here.

Agreed. Outside of fewer politics posts*, seems about the same.

*Note: not saying that as a good our bad thing; simply a “thing.” I personally like political posts, but each person has their own limit.
