I would like to support the effort to move away from Reddit, but I have no idea how this new site works.

Any resources you would recommend? Also, should we consider putting a sticky note on how to use the platform?

I can't subscribe for communities from lemmy.ml - [email protected] for example. It just show zero posts. Why is that?

it will only add new posts after subscribers from an instance start subscribing to it. Historical posts wont be federated (this is intended with how lemmy works).

You should be able to subscribe to it, and as soon as you do new posts will start federating. I see the option to subscribe to that community from here.

I was trying to say just that - it shows zero posts after subscribing, and other ml communities behave the same way

I currently see 0 subscribers from this instance for that sub. Does it show you that you're subscribed? Does it maybe say "subscribe pending"?

Yes, that’s picture I saw when I’ve been subscribed. But now it works, suddenly)
