Literally all that's required is not have it plastered on the title and in the thumbnail. "British Grand Prix 2023 Discussion" is perfectly fine, and btw, is what the other formula 1 community is doing, and it doesn't appear to be stifling discussion over there.
I don't know, I think you taking care/curate you intake of news, and therefore intake of current F1 news, is on you, not the international F1 community wanting to discuss the race live. Why would the rest of the F1 fans over the world put things on hold because of you? Honest question. I know there are more like you but let's be real, that number is a fragment of the people who watch live, I suspect.
Nobody is asking anyone to put anything on hold. A "post race discussion thread" would be the same discussion with a non-spoiler title.
