That poor normal mage out there reading a book every time he wants to cast some weak fireball.

Then Rudeus just casually conjures a fire nuke without saying a word.

But in every discussion about the series there are fans that vehemently argue that Rudeus isn't an overpowered MC. So, clearly, you must be wrong.

He's OP in terms of your average adventurer. He's nowhere near OP when it comes to the big players in the world.
