I hear downtown mesa is pretty fun these days but it's just so damn far I'll have to take everyone's word for it.
Same. As a friend of mine said "There's some cool things to do down there, but once you're done... you're still in Mesa!"
It's awesome being able to get from downtown Phoenix to there on the light rail, just a shame it isn't a little bit faster (an hour from Roosevelt Row).
