Now it’s confirmed that AJ is fighting Whyte, and the suggestion is that this is a stay busy fight with the intention for AJ to fight Wilder at the end of the year.

Thoughts?

I think it’s an acceptable fight considering the situation but if the Wilder fight fails to materialise it will not age well.

Trying to find AJ a stay busy fight that can pay him an amount he would accept is quite difficult. Not sure who was also in the running but I can understand it even if I’m not excited by it.

I'll definitely watch it, I get why he's fighting Whyte, I just hope it all pays off and we get aj v Wilder and usyk v fury end of the year because that is 2 unmissable fights.

What are your predictions for wilder/AJ and usyk/fury?

Both could go either way quite easily to be fair, I'm gonna go with the 2 Brits so we can sort up the superfight in Wembley, but that's probably wishful thinking.

This is heavyweight boxing though, so the chances both these fights actually happen are slim to none.

And the chances are slimmer when Fury is part of the equation.

I kinda get it, it'll sell out whatever arena in England most likely. It's just one of those pointless rematches that like, technically shouldn't happen, but here we are lul. I mean I'll still be watching it if on DAZN since I'm already subbed, but I ain't excited for it.

Was curious and looked it. Its part of your sub, unless you are in the UK/Ireland, where its an additional £26.99 on DAZN PPV.

It should be a good scrap regardless of whether it's the fight we wanted, hopefully sets AJ up to be ready for the fight with Wilder, and hopefully they both go for the knockout, Whyte will definitely be looking for the knockout as he has no chance of out pointing AJ.
