Just a reminder there's no protection from being treated badly for being young, only for being old.
If you're 35 and up for a promotion, it's completely legal for your company to flat out say you're not old enough. Or in this case twitter could have laid off 100% of under 35 year old employees and no one else.
Because old people make the rules.
Elon's old though.
Because he's "special".
I have zero trouble believing he'd fire people younger than he is because they're "too old". But as a special snowflake genius, he'd never consider himself too old.
That's not the case everywhere.
Yeah, that's how laws work...
But it's a pretty safe bet when talking about what an American Judges ruled about the American CEO of an American company did to American workers...
That most replies will focus on America's laws and not Uzbeckistan's.
I mean sure, you could ask everyone on the internet to always mention what country their talking about, but it's probably easier to just use some common sense. Because that will help you in other areas as well.
