Android Auto (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

I currently use an OnePlus 9 Pro and want to switch to LineageOS.

I dont use banking apps and don't use Netflix or whatever.

The only thing holding me back is android auto. I searched various forums and posts and got a bunch of mixed results.

Can someone give me the current status on android auto with lineageos? Does it work, if yes, is it easy to install and use?

Depends on your use case. If you're the type of person that uses their phone beyond the 2-3 Android version update cycle ("life of the phone"), LOS allows you to enjoy newer versions of Android rather than being stuck, potentially, several versions behind. I used a Galaxy S5 for far longer than I'd like to admit. ๐Ÿ˜
