Is it possible to cycle through virtual desktops using the mouse scrollwheel? (lemmy.world)

I would like to be able to configure a shortcut that allows me to, for example, switch one workspace to the right by the shortcut <meta> + <scrollwheel-up>. I tried configuring this in the "Shortcuts" section of System Settings, but it didn't appear to work.
