Hum, management does drive your software's architecture.

This is a well known and documented fact. I don't see your problem with it. Is it that you don't like it?

This also means that they share the responsibility for your shitty code. They often have almost all of it. That cartoon is saying this.

They share responsibility in reality, but they will get promotions and bonuses while you will get fired.
