yeah, but you gotta ask yourself why this is getting such headlines while Everton being robbed against Fulham is not really making the rounds.

Yeah, that does not look good refereeing either, I would also be pissed at the referee. My guesses are that a big 6 team is evolved AND/OR the ManUnited - Wolves was the only game of the day, so more people watched it, therefore more online criticism.
partially for sure, but mainly it's because it's 90+ minutes at OT and it went in United's favor. United sells headlines and United is hated by a lot of people who's childhood was destroyed by the dominance of SAF, that's about it, if this was a reverse situation of United not getting the pen, you wouldn't have a thread on /r/soccer with 2000 comments I can guarantee it.
