One would think his quality would allow us to come out with a profit or at least without losing money, and with a player that can gel with the system better. Seems in practice we're still struggling to find a good price for him but maybe Newcastle is about to change that.

That being said, it's crazy to me that there is no room for a traditional LB like Tierney in this squad.
