Well a couple things here..

Pretty much if you're doing any kind of dab besides bubble/ice hash (which is extracted with water - technically a solvent) or rosin (which is bubble hash or flower processed via heat & pressure), you're doing something that was extracted via solvent. Whether it's propane (PHO), butane (BHO), CO2, etc it will have solvents used for extraction.

That said, most of the concern about solvents vs solventless isnt really a concern in my opinion - at least with any professional producer with standards and lab results. If you're lighting your bowl or joints with a butane lighter, you're probably inhaling more solvents from that than you ever will from quality dabs. I don't fuck with unknown black market dabs, though.

Also color will not typically tell you much of anything useful about a dab. I've had super high grade solventless rosin that was nearly pure white (as an example) and everything in between. (EDIT I should add diamonds are a bit of a special case as they should be a nearly clear crystal. These are canary diamonds which have some terp sauce on them for flavor, hence the slight yellow shade). There's a lot of outdated or outright bullshit stoner wisdom out there.

I highly recommend looking into the actual science of extraction methods and such if you're interested (this is not a bad basic overview) - it's both fascinating and enlightening!
