Can't wait for liberals to bend over backwards to tell us "mass unregulated facial recognition is good, actually!"

Nah they'll argue this is fake, maintain that the US doesn't need to implement rules like this because it's naturally more restrained with its surveillance.

Thing is the US farms most of its internal surveillance out to the private sector so their can claim deniability on how broadly they use it.

You're right, it'll be two camps. One camp says "acktewally the market will self regulate" and then the other camp says "China is lying!"

Just like the COVID response.
