If you want to see the Fediverse's livestreaming platform #OwnCast in action, there's a livestreaming DJ session just started from New York at:

They're playing soulful house and related genres.

You can chat anonymously with a randomly assigned name, or you can log in with your Mastodon etc account to verify your identity.

I'm not a web dev so difficult to comment, but for what it's worth it plays when minimised on my laptop.

Maybe @[email protected] could help? (They're the lead dev of OwnCast 🙂 )
