Are we just ignoring the glaring issue of missing the chance that the person has actually already taken their meds and will overdose in the second instance?
Are you being serious right now? because if so, what's wrong with you, mate?
I'm being appropriately serious given the context. How serious are you being?
Not at all.
That's slightly less serious than me then. What's up with your reaction?
Well I wasn't sure if you were serious due to lack of body language. :)
That wouldn't help, I'm a firm believer in performing fabricated outrage for comical effect.
Careful, you're messing with AuDHDers!
Shortsighted. The real fear here is that you'll use it at the wrong time and waste it's potential, so you save it for the perfect opportunity...
Unfortunately, you never know when you missed it and the potion is never used.
Me, two days ago. Got in so, so much trouble at work. Get home, oh. There's my pill, on my desk.
I am not a medical professional and I obviously don't know the dosage of people in this thread. But I'll still say no one will overdose (as in harm themself or die) by accidentally taking 2x what their body is used to.
Double dosing on ADHD meds might not kill you but it can cause anxiety attacks or even seizures. If it’s an extended release formula then you could be in for a very bad day!
Yeah, I accidentally took my sister's ADHD mddicine instead of my own once and felt so sick later that I went home during a lesson. And my sister doesn't even get a that much higher dosis than me.
Oh wow. Important info!
Overdose (as in accidentally taking 2x what their body is used to), obviously?
That's my point. It may be the medical definition, but colloquially, no one uses it like that.
Am I a joke to you?
You can also do the "My potions are too strong for you, traveler. You need to go to a potion seller that sells weaker potions", especially if it's that strong, especially to anyone without ADHD.
If accidentally doubling up on their prescription ADHD meds causes someone to overdose (with no additional factors), then they have a grossly incompetent doctor.
