I have friends who played sombra heavilly and really dislike the fact you can't use invis as heavily to position. Are there any other sombra players with different perspectives?

I actually quite like it. I would say that she is actually still pretty strong. Especially since they just changed Translocater to be from seven to six second cooldown. If you relied on Invis. to hide out in the open, I can see where you would now struggle.

I like that the Opportunist passive is back, it makes hacking enemies before striking is worth it again; whether Virus or primary fire.

It's very much go in, find opportunity, strike or get out. Though, you can still Sombra:76 if you want and play in the frontline.
