We were talking about fascist dictators here, but i can see why you'd confuse that with Republicans in general.
Trump is a fascist and wants to be a dictator, that's true. Fascism is also not exclusive to Trump in the Republican Party. The Heritage Foundation and Project 2025 are core to the GOP, not just Trump.
Criticizing Biden/Harris for conceding to right-wing lies like on immigration or for wanting to integrate Republicans into her Cabinet are completely valid criticisms. She should be attacking them on every fascist policy they advocate for and countering them with progressive policies that are popular
Never said it was exclusive to Trump. It's kind of hard for me to believe you actually think I was implying that and aren't just trying to ignore the point I was making about false equivalency.
No, not you based on your comment. I think we're in agreement. It seemed like the people downvoting treefrog did when they were simply criticizing Harris' idea of appointing a republican cabinet member.
Trump is fascist for a lot more than just aiming to become a 'day one' dictator, and most of that is congruent with the GOP as a whole. If Harris recognizes what makes Trump a fascist, which she does, I would think she would also recognize the issue with bringing a Republican to her cabinet.
Yeah. I want more Khans. I do not want more Garlands.
