Not sure why lemmy liberals are assuming Harris and Biden are secretly against Israel, it's going to be a big disappointment for you all if the Democrats win again and nothing changes.
When you're voting in a one-party system with two right wings, nothing changing is the expected outsome.
It's called Stockholm Syndrome: people without options often end up genuinelly believing that the guy who tortures them only twice a week rather than daily is "deep down a good guy" and even "is our friend".

I agree with her there. Hamas is a terrorist organization and they are pieces of shit too. They’re no longer “freedom fighters” as soon as they are killing unarmed women and children.

Are you not aware that the specific protestors she was responding to were actually flying Hamas flag and spray painting pro-Hamas messages on statues and things. It was bad.

I clearly hadn't been giving those protestors enough credit, but the corollary of that is that Kamala, while an absolute zionist bastard, was still generalizing but not nearly as aggressively as I thought (there are definitely a bunch of triangles). I said "setting aside what we think of Hamas" for a reason, if that helps you interpret my meaning, I'm just doing a bad job managing both impulsively responding after the conversation ran its course and also avoiding getting into a useless dispute about the main force of military resistance to an ongoing genocide.
