Ich sehe dort noch einen anderen Grund, wenn die Entwickler nicht mehr erreichbar sind, dann wird es auch keine Updates mehr geben um Kompatibilität mit modernerer Hardware zu sichern. Ergo, ab dann ist es Abandonware
