Didn't that end up being illegal for them to do or something so they had to go back on the rule?

Edit: I only realize now that I am responding to a 7 month old thread that was at the top of 'Hot'. Lemmy's algorithm is confusing.

Could be a bug. Yesterday there was a post that showed as 2 years old in Jerboa but other users were saying it was only showing as a few days old in their browser.

It's possible your instamce recently federated with this community. Sometimes that can pop up older articles because the last time they were accessed their score was higher. At least that's my theory on experiences thus far.
