Quick question: How many penalty points can be given to a driver in one race?
There was an F2 driver that got 9 points in one race a few years back
So, not enough for another race ban.
For those wondering, a driver needs to have 12 penalty points for a race ban.
You could achieve an immediate race ban if you did something pretty egarious like ramming drivers off the road. I would say if he intentionally collided with the leaders as they lapped him, it would do it.
Otherwise, you get points for each separate offence, so he just needs 4 or 5 serious incidents.
Lance Stroll got an immediate race ban in f3
It's in a 12 month period though so it rolls over to late in the 2025 season iirc
Oh, sorry, I meant in a single race, assuming you wanted to see him banned. I think if they are totally separate, then they won't make any leeway with reducing the points.
