The Next version of this game is simply stunning, even on my crappy little Blaupunkt TV. Recreated by Matt Davies and Simon Butler from the original Mike Singleton release, it shows just what a brilliant games machine the Next can be.

I always find wonderful how good some games were back then, despite (because of?) the lack of 4K shader ray-tracing teraflop graphics cards 500GB of cutscenes crap. Good concepts distilled to their essence! Lords of Midnight is certainly one of the Great Ones!

I've neevr played much LoM, but I find the Next version especially fluid and enjoyable, making good use of the extra capabilities of the machine.
