Honestly I just wanted to read what Meredith was repeating

Meredith is saying she didn't read the book: Je (I in French) Nicht (not in German) LeΓ (read in Italian) Hon (book in Japanese)

Meredith is such a slacker. If she put half the energy into reading as she learnung 4 languages and how to float in the air while projecting hoary necromagic from her orifices, she would be able to participate in the conversation.

IDK, I feel like she might have put just a teeny bit too much effort into reading.
