- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. - Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

That's all the rules!

Yeah but also if they take time to deny or explain everything, then they come across as defensive and weak. The reality is that in a popularity contest, rumors are effective if you aren't above them. I think Trump team's best strategy would be to ignore the salacious news/rumors for a while, then make a dismissive response about the opposition making things up because they are nasty and small minded people. I'm sure that's what they are doing, but it will be interesting to see. Trump needs to reassert himself as the cool kid somehow and responding and reacting won't do it.
What would they need to take time to do? If the photos were AI fakes, it would take about ten seconds to prove it. Then you laugh them off dismissively and move on. This "no comment" stuff is precisely why the photos are gaining credibility.
Yeah maybe, but every second you spend defending or deflecting that kind of thing is a win for blue team. It doesn't matter if it's true or not. If you are reacting, you are losing. Tbh the pictures could be real too, in which case he definitely can't talk about it because the opposition would eat him alive, even if the reality were pretty unremarkable.
If they're real - and frankly, they do seem to be - eventually he'll have to address it, because no-commenting every time they're brought up will just make it look like he has something to hide.
They can't be above this rumor because their position on drag and trans issues are beneath it.
