The hilarious part of all this would be to see America actually elect this idiot. Say what you want about him but he's running to lead the most powerful country in the world.

The fact that he is even a contender says more about America than anything.

I stopped laughing at Trump a long time ago .... I now point my finger at the American population.

I have hope for the US because of Harris but if Trump wins it, the world will never look at the US with any bit of respect (if there ever was any left) ever again.

Gerrymandering helps skew things in favor of Republicans

[–] [email protected] 20 points 3 months ago

The Electoral College isn't technically a gerrymander, but functionally, it's the same.

Yeah but not for the presidency.

I disagree with your sick sense of humor.

"People will die in a mass genocide if America elects this megalomaniac dictator. But they deserve it for Americans being self-centered idiots."

There. Fixed the OP for you.

I'm often reminded of the saying

Imagine how dumb the average person is and realise that half the population are more stupid than that

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago

To be fair people like the orange turnip and his followers are heavily tipping the scales in that direction all by themselves.

Average doesn't have to be in the middle. You've probably meant "median"

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

Intelligence (and I don't mean IQ but intelligence as an abstract trait) is probably normally distributed just like the vast majority of other biological traits, so the mean is the median

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

In other words, and less often repeated, "half of them are smarter than that!"

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

I mean... Median is a type of average, just because I wasn't being specific doesn't mean I was wrong

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

We already saw what that was like in 2016. It wasn't good.
