This is actually decent advice

Indeed. Optimal sleep and low stress will not only make hormones more favorable to burning fat but also to appetite regulation.

Tired people overeat in a way rested people do not.

Not to mention the massive benefits they provide to muscle generation and overall fitness. You can lift every day but if you don't sleep, recover and eat enough protein it ain't going to bring results.

Absolutely. You know what you do in your sleep? Rest, rebuild muscle, and not eat.

You also exhale CO2, which is the primary way we lose weight. Burned fat mostly comes out as water and CO2.

Definitely. Now, if there weren't insomnia...

THC hinders REM sleep. Melatonin supplementation negatively impacts Melatonin production of the body.

No, I think getting the everyday stress level down and finding room for workout again is the solution but it's not easy.

Super small sample but most people in my family, like all but three, have suffered from insomnia. The majority went to the doctor and got pills or self medicated with alcohol and weed. Their lives get worse and worse. They still suffer from insomnia. A few of us changed our lives until the insomnia subsided. I got a divorce, my brother changed jobs, my aunt moved to a different state. Our insomnia went away and were are all better for the changes we made after the initial difficulties.

Drawing out an intolerable situation is harder than changing it in the long run. Sounds like you agree. More power to you and good luck.
