The voter turnout according to the VEP metric was 66.9% in 2020 and yet Dems don't have majority in senate so this meme is already wrong.
Were all the senate seats up for election?
Did Dems win a majority of the seats that were available?
are "a majority in the senate" and "a majority of seats available for election" the same thing?
If it's a competition of ideas, it should not matter.
Are you a registered American voter? It’s a competition of ideas at the grassroots level, and even then the ideas are “save everyone” vs. “kill everyone”, it’s not much competition. By the time there are nuances, you’ve already won some kind of office. I don’t know what competition of ideas you’re talking about except in the most general way possible.
