A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

I feel bad for people who live where tap water tastes like shit. Our water source is straight from snow melt here in the PNW and is so clean that we didn't even need to treat it (other than filtering through sand) up until a few years ago when a reservoir experienced a toxic algae bloom. Places like LA and Vegas have notoriously god awful tap water which is doubly bad since it makes it difficult to drink even though you're in the desert.

Water tastes bad enough in my part of Florida for everyone I know to either filter it or buy bottled water. I seriously don't know of one person that drinks straight tap water.

Nestle bottles a bunch of their water from "municipal supply in Hialeah FL" so a ton of it tastes like toilet

Same here. Best tasting water is from the Willamette.
