Ask them if they think that the movie "The Wall" is a good representation of the song.

I'm old enough to remember when both released and I don't have a good answer to this, assuming you mean the pink floyd movie and not some other I'm not aware of.

I am and I am, and it's a trick question because the movie is the entire album which is a rock opera.
