Fat phobia and misogyny, neat πΈ
How is this fatphobic?
The only way to beat fatphobia is to become obese.
Or to find a long term way of eating that makes you not obese (and not skinny-fat either). I'm on a zero fibre, zero sugar diet which works well β makes me feel good, though it is pretty extreme and isn't supported by any national dietary guidelines. I have been not obese for over a year and not overweight for a few months
That sounds very fatphobic :/ but really I did it for allergies and health rather than for body image, it just happens to have worked for body image too
They talk about how they can eat what they want and not get fat as if being fat is a problem. Talking about fat being a problem is fatphobia. Trying to fit a body image your body can't do is internalised fatphobia. Noticing that nearly no one was fat in 1920, but something like half of us are now, is probably fatphobic. I think accepting a modern diet of processed foods and sugar water drinks is not fatphobic, but suggesting weight loss diets or methods is
What OOP didn't know is that he was getting worse than obese, he was putting on visceral fat which doesn't show much.
Being fat isn't intrinsically unhealthy, but it's pretty hard to be healthy and obese. It's pretty hard to be healthy on a diet of packaged foods and factory made drinks
I completely disagree. He was making no comments about obesity being morally or socially wrong. He was simply saying it is his personal preference to not be fat, he prefers to be thin.
If that is fat phobic then me saying I donβt want to have sex with other men is homophobic.
