Rules for Posting Guides on Our Community

1. Defining a Guide Guides are comprehensive reference materials, how-tos, or comparison tables. A guide must be well-organized both in content and layout. Information should be easily accessible without unnecessary navigation. Guides can include flowcharts, step-by-step instructions, or visual references that compare different elements side by side.

2. Infographic Guidelines Infographics are permitted if they are educational and informative. They should aim to convey complex information visually and clearly. However, infographics that primarily serve as visual essays without structured guidance will be subject to removal.

3. Grey Area Moderators may use discretion when deciding to remove posts. If in doubt, message us or use downvotes for content you find inappropriate.

4. Source Attribution If you know the original source of a guide, share it in the comments to credit the creators.

5. Diverse Content To keep our community engaging, avoid saturating the feed with similar topics. Excessive posts on a single topic may be moderated to maintain diversity.

6. Verify in Comments Always check the comments for additional insights or corrections. Moderators rely on community expertise for accuracy.

This whole graph is wack except friend's dog.

Seriously... a dog is not 80% the effort of a horse. It's not even 10%

Indeed all sorts of things are off... I have to assume that ferrets are at least as much fun as cats... And then to claim the cats and dogs (and most other animals) are on the same line of effort vs fun?

Cats are waay less effort than dogs, do you have to walk your cat every day? No.

You feed cats, let them in and out to poop, what else is there to do?

Dogs, dogs are great, but they're needy, they want constant attention, know how to whine, bark, beg, eat lots more. Dogs are waay more effort than cats.

This chart should be titled "Chart with multiple things wrong with it"... Then to claim it's official on top of all this.

let them in and out to poop

:concerned face:

Right? Cats are very low effort. They can basically live on their own and have a good habit of staying clean and only pooping in the litterbox. Chances are they'll either be sleeping or lazing around the house. Putting them next to dogs which need WAY more attention is off.

Okay Lemmy, this is a reddit post and it's horribly wrong (naturally). Can we fix it?
