As someone with a commercial pilot friend.
They are way too well trained to fall for this prank. If they were able to confuse driving and flying like this they should be on sick leave immediately.
I don't care that someone lied on the internet, that made me laugh loudly in public
I don't care if you care. I just have a specific insight on this subject and wanted to share.
I love you mate, hope you have a good day

Yeah, my first thought as well was that "pulling up" would be pulling the steering wheel back, which wouldn't do anything. Certainly wouldn't swerve the car all the way off the road, you wouldn't want to jerk a plane left or right in that scenario either.
So... definitely made up. But still an amusing greentext.
Would have been a better joke if they had paddle shifters and accidentally yanked hard on both.
That's how you quick save.
Motorcyclists: yanks back on the handlebars and pops a wheelie, "pulling up" the front wheel
Uhmmm that doesn't work
It does if you also suddenly give it lots of throttle on a powerful enough motorcycle
Or if it's a lighter class and you shift your center of gravity far enough.
Also, yanking back on the yoke as hard as you can when you hear a terrain alert is a pretty surefire way to crash and die anyways. So yeah, fake and potentially gay.
