A place to share alternatives to popular online services that can be self-hosted without giving up privacy or locking you into a service you don't control.

Rules:

It really is so slow it's not study worth using unfortunately.

Syncthing and some nice caldav and you're mostly good.

While I do love Syncthing, it solves a different set of requirements.
