Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Don't know and am not bothered by the ban. Each group gets to decide what's in it and I'm okay with that. Though it does suck that they removed all posts and comments so there is no record.
Modlog calls it "spam". I guess they didn't like one of the comics?
Probably too socialist.
Yes, it's their fault if they don't know what's good.
One day I want to buy your book.
That would be an awkward conversation with NAPG and his lawyer.
I wonder how Garfield without Garfield put out books then
Jim Davis will allow anything if the cut is big enough.
But NAPG does react to my stuff on Facebook and Twitter so he might not be opposed to it.
These have become a favorite part of my day. Will you be posting them somewhere else on Lemmy?
I'll be posting them in this group.
You should make a community for it. Like Garfield Minus Garfield on reddit. That way more people can join in and they'll all be collected in one place.
Of course also crosspost them here but still
I don't know that there really needs to be two sources on the same platform given how niche it is. Then there is an issue of Lemmy not allowing me to post to some groups and it would be odd if I created a group only to find out I can't post to it without a 403 error. Lastly I'm using Boost for Lemmy and I'd have to sort out all of its moderation options, which I'm not even sure are fully functional yet.
Good to know! I just un-subbed from the .ml one.
