Compared to PvE it was already harder to maintain Stealth on a group of players in WvW, but the patch made it extremely hard. Well, it could have been even worse. If I remember correctly, the original plan was to make all Gyros stationary.

I'm not much of a Scrapper player myself. I only play it in Open World where Stealth Gyro or rather Gyros in general are still pretty good. Here's to hoping that future balance updates don't ruin what makes Professions / Elite Specializations unique and fun to play.
