I don't have 45 mins to waste - tl;dw: for the video?
Well it's certainly not a waste, Some More News is top notch YouTube, funny and well researched. I almost guarantee you'll enjoy it (put it on 1.5x speed or so).
But I guess the deciding point for me is that Tidal pays the artist around 5x more than Spotify - tidal pays the most of any streaming service. But the video goes into detail about how Spotify is owned by the record companies, why Taylor Swift fought against Apple Music, how Apple Music tried to screw musicians out of streaming revenue, it's all a mess, and Tidal comes out consistently on top.
If you're into a content creator maybe it's not a waste but I don't have 45 mins to get the gist of video to understand a comment so it's a waste to someone in that regard.
Appreciate the summary, that's good info to have.
