From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

This is the first time I'm hearing of Zorin OS. What's so unique about it? It seems pretty standard based on the release features, and that upstream is just Ubuntu LTS. Does anyone use Zorin OS?

I put zorin lite on my girlfriend's old ass laptop, works well if you just need stability and snappiness and won't mess with much

I would guess its selling point is that it's easy for beginners to use and look a little like Windows. My friends dad recommended it to me and I tried it for some time but I never liked and probably never will like Ubuntu.

I like how it just works and how beautiful it is
