From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

I tried Waydroid on Arch and its amazing. It runs Android apps flawlessly. And with a touchscreen device, I feel like I have an Android tablet running inside my Linux machine.

But I still don't know what to use it for...

What apps do you use with Waydroid? What use cases do you have for it?

Damn where do you work, I'd gladly fill that seat. I'd take Ubuntu over Windows any day.

I actually like Gnome but I'm so tired of Microsoft shops.

So you’re forced to use Ubuntu, not GNOME? Why don’t you just install KDE then? I understand them wanting to keep distros the same between people if anything but DE shouldn’t matter.
